There are entrepreneurs who build companies, and there are those who build systems. Elena Systrenska belongs to the second category, the kind of leader who sees beyond a single business and instead creates interconnected structures that generate long-term value across industries and countries.
Her story did not begin in the United States, but it was there that it gained a new dimension. Nearly four years ago, Elena relocated from Ukraine, not as part of a planned expansion, but as a response to circumstances that forced millions to rethink their lives. For many, such a move represents disruption. For Elena, it became acceleration.
With over two decades of entrepreneurial experience, she arrived with something far more valuable than local familiarity, she brought strategic thinking, operational discipline, and the ability to rebuild systems from the ground up.
“I don’t believe in waiting for the right moment,” she says. “If the environment changes, you change the structure. And then you move forward.”
Today, Elena operates at the intersection of logistics, human resources, consulting, and community development, not as separate directions, but as parts of a unified ecosystem.
One of the most foundational pillars of her work is international logistics. Through long-term projects such as Global Unity Logistics and Ukrvipservice, she has spent more than 15 years developing cross-border transportation systems that connect the United States, Europe, Ukraine, and China. Her companies handle multimodal logistics, sea, air, rail, and road, along with warehousing, consolidation, and import-export coordination.
But what differentiates Elena’s approach is not the scope of services, but the way she positions logistics itself.
“In today’s world, logistics is not delivery,” she explains. “It’s strategy. It’s timing. It’s risk management.”
Her clients are not looking for basic transportation. They are looking for predictability in unpredictable conditions, and that requires a partner who understands global trade beyond theory.
At the same time, Elena has built a strong presence in human resources through her international HR company. Her work focuses on recruitment, team development, and building internal structures that allow companies to grow sustainably. Having worked with businesses at different stages, she understands that scaling is rarely a question of demand, it is a question of people and systems.
This dual focus, operations and people, defines much of her strategy.
Yet Elena’s influence extends beyond traditional business. Over the past few years, she has become increasingly involved in building communities, particularly among Ukrainian entrepreneurs in the United States.
Together with her husband, she co-founded America Svoi, a fast-growing network that now connects more than 500 founders and professionals. What began as a simple initiative has evolved into a platform where people exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and find support in a new environment.
“Business becomes much stronger when people are not isolated,” she says. “When there is trust, connection, and shared experience, growth happens faster.”
This idea, that success is amplified through community, is central to everything she does.
Beyond business and networking, Elena also focuses on supporting women navigating transitions: immigration, career changes, family challenges. Her initiatives create space for conversation and support, something she considers just as important as strategy or execution.
“I know what it means to rebuild,” she says. “And I know how important it is not to do it alone.”
Despite the scale of her work, Elena does not position herself as someone who has reached a final point. On the contrary, she is actively entering new areas, including AI-driven projects and real estate development. Her next step involves building long-term rental assets, a move that reflects her focus on stability, structure, and future-oriented investments.
This ability to constantly evolve while maintaining a clear strategic core is what makes her approach distinctive.
She does not chase trends. She builds systems that outlast them.
She does not separate markets. She connects them.
She does not focus on a single role. She operates as a founder, strategist, and ecosystem builder simultaneously.
