Life has a way of teaching lessons that no classroom, business seminar, or financial textbook ever could. Few people understand that better than Gary and Michelle Bachmann, a husband-and-wife team whose entrepreneurial journey has been marked by both remarkable success and significant challenges.
Today, the Bachmann’s are known throughout Central Florida as the owners of Atlas Central Florida Realty, a thriving real estate brokerage built on relationships, integrity, and exceptional service. They are also preparing for the launch of their newest venture, Atlas Central Florida Title, an exciting expansion that will allow them to serve their clients even more comprehensively.
But their path to success wasn’t always easy.
For more than 20 years, Gary and Michelle have owned and operated traditional businesses. Gary, a professional accountant with a strong financial background, has spent his career helping businesses understand the numbers behind success. Michelle built her reputation through entrepreneurship, customer service, and a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Together, they created a life centered around hard work, determination, and the belief that anything is possible when you’re willing to put in the effort.
Then came COVID-19.
Like countless small business owners across America, the Bachmann’s found themselves facing unprecedented challenges. Their furniture store, a business they had invested years of hard work and dedication into building, was hit hard by supply chain disruptions, rising costs, and the economic uncertainty that swept across the country.
Despite their best efforts, they ultimately lost the business and were forced to file bankruptcy.
“It was one of the most difficult seasons of our lives,” Michelle recalls. “When you’ve spent years building something and suddenly it’s gone, it forces you to reevaluate everything.”
For many people, such a setback might have been the end of their entrepreneurial story. For Gary and Michelle, it became the beginning of a new chapter.
Drawing on decades of business experience and an unwavering commitment to moving forward, they rebuilt. Together, they poured their energy into real estate, helping families manage one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. What started as a fresh start soon grew into Atlas Central Florida Realty, a successful brokerage serving clients throughout Central Florida and beyond.
Their success in real estate reinforced something they had learned through both triumph and adversity: resilience matters. So does having multiple streams of income and a plan for the future.
That realization is one of the reasons they became involved with Join47 Inc.
“When we discovered Join47, we saw more than a business opportunity,” says Gary. “We saw a chance to help people create additional options for themselves and their families. Having experienced both success and hardship, we understand how important it is to have flexibility and choices.”

Looking back, Gary and Michelle wouldn’t have chosen the challenges they faced, but they are grateful for the perspective those experiences provided.
“The setbacks taught us resilience, faith, and the importance of never giving up,” says Gary. “If our story can inspire someone else to keep going, then every obstacle we faced served a purpose.”
