In an industry often defined by spectacle, structure, and the rigid codes of seasonal fashion, designer Katerina Frumina is quietly revolutionizing the way we think about style. Through her brand La Magnetique, Frumina has introduced a fresh, intelligent concept: luxury that moves with you—emotionally, physically, and aesthetically. At the heart of her design philosophy is a simple idea with powerful implications: elegance should never compromise comfort, and comfort should never sacrifice identity.
La Magnetique specializes in handmade suits crafted in a pajama-inspired silhouette, designed for the modern individual who values ease as much as expression. Each piece reflects Frumina’s precise understanding of fabric, form, and emotional wearability. More than just garments, they are wearable moods—designed to shift from private to public, day to evening, and casual to formal, all with a subtle shift of styling.
“My goal is to create pieces that adapt to life in real time,” says Frumina. “A woman doesn’t always want to perform. Sometimes she just wants to exist beautifully—and my job is to support that.”
A Brand Born From Quiet Confidence
La Magnetique was officially launched in Kyiv in 2015, with a debut fashion show that brought together figures from Ukraine’s entertainment and media industries. Held in one of the city’s most iconic venues, the show was attended by names like Ramina Eskhakzai, Nikolai Tishchenko, and Alla Baranovska—an early validation of the brand’s magnetic pull.
Frumina was invited for an exclusive two-day mentorship in Italy, where she was introduced to the inner workings of the fashion manufacturing ecosystem. From Brashi Fur to Tomasini Bags and Cercal School of Footwear, the experience solidified her commitment to craftsmanship and refined her technical skillset.
“That time in Italy shaped how I think about quality,” she explains. “You can’t fake authenticity when it comes to materials or technique. What touches the skin must also touch the soul.”

The Philosophy of Effortless Elegance
What sets La Magnetique apart isn’t just fabric or cut—it’s the feeling. These are garments for women who lead multifaceted lives and need clothing that can evolve with them. A signature La Magnetique suit, for example, can transform from a relaxed, at-home piece into an empowered evening look within seconds—no outfit change necessary. Modular detailing, variable silhouettes, and rich yet breathable fabrics allow for subtle but impactful styling shifts.
The result is a product that respects time, mood, and reality. It doesn’t demand performance. It invites self-definition.
“We’re all living many lives in a single day,” says Frumina. “So why should our clothing speak only one language?”
This design logic also supports sustainable consumption. Instead of promoting the seasonal cycle of buying and discarding, La Magnetique encourages investment in pieces that evolve, reducing the need for excess while increasing emotional attachment to each garment.
La Magnetique on the Global Stage
Since its European debut, La Magnetique has begun to expand its international presence. The brand has been featured in multiple fashion media, praised for its balance of precision and poetry. Now based between Europe and the United States, Frumina is preparing for a new era of global visibility, including participation in major style weeks and curated capsule presentations.
Later this year, La Magnetique is set to collaborate with Florida Men’s Fashion Week, marking a new chapter for the brand. While traditionally focused on women’s fashion, Frumina’s men’s pieces—equally elegant and rooted in the pajama-suit ethos—are gaining traction among tastemakers looking for softer yet refined alternatives to the conventional suit.
“Men also need clothing that breathes—both literally and stylistically,” Frumina says. “La Magnetique for men is about quiet authority, not forced dominance. It’s about comfort with confidence.”
A New Kind of Luxury
In a world where the definitions of luxury and lifestyle are constantly evolving, La Magnetique stands as a bridge between inner peace and outer sophistication. It refuses the binary of ‘homewear’ and ‘formalwear’ and instead offers a middle space—one that feels deeply human, intimate, and ultimately freeing.
For Frumina, the brand is not just a business. It’s a language. A vocabulary of soft lines, generous cuts, rich textures, and understated power. It’s about wearing what you feel—and feeling like your best self without trying too hard.
As fashion continues to move toward personalization, emotional intelligence, and hybrid living, La Magnetique is not chasing trends. It’s quietly leading a new conversation, one rooted in reality and elevated by design.
Because true elegance, as Frumina proves, doesn’t shout. It resonates.
